Club Philosophy
In the fitness department we have two major concerns: helping members reach their goals and providing qualified staff. I have done two things to address these concerns. First, I have taken special care to ensure that all of our trainers have formal education in exercise science and that they are certified by the top agencies in the industry. Rest assured that we are qualified to assist you. Second, I and my staff are always available. We are here to help and support all of the members, so do not be afraid to approach us with questions.

Personal Philosophy
I have experience working with most demographics and enjoy helping others reach their fitness goals, whatever they may be. Whether your goals are sport specific or just related to your personal health and fitness, I have the ability and expertise to help you reach them. Resistance training is at the core of any effective fitness program, and whether you are young or old, male or female, a serious or recreational athlete; you belong in the free weight area.

Personal Philosophy

It has been my experience that my fellow North-westerners take ownership of their personal health and fitness; furthermore, they have considerable potential for self-directed, independent training.  I am here to help you train your body safely and even more effectively, and moreover pass on to you the proper techniques, movements, and the basic science of exercise needed for you to always train confidently.  Seeing improvement is encouraging, while reaching goals is empowering.  All of us can achieve healthier lifestyles by fostering good habits in and out of the club.

Personal Philosophy

I have the training and experience to lead anyone to their fitness goals, whether you are training to improve your quality of life or to increase performance in a specific sport.  A fitness assessment should be taken before starting a training program. This assessment will determine your optimal starting point and will quantify the improvements made in future assessments.  Analyzing this data will motivate you to continue to set and reach loftier goals in the future. This progression should lead to training with free weights. You will be amazed at your body’s response to free weights. Additionally, I explain what and why we are doing certain exercises, the effects, and why it is beneficial so eventually you will possess the knowledge and experience to continue on your own. Your body will reward you each and every day by feeling better with a tremendous amount of energy.
